Veganism has been all the rage, lately. More and more celebrities claim to swear by this diet, and Hollywood is full of both veteran-vegans, as well as relatively new ones. Here are 16 celebrities you didn’t know were vegan.



16. Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres

Portia and Ellen are not only married to one another, but also stopped consuming meat and dairy products together in 2009. Both have made statements that going vegan is not a sacrifice, but rather the compassionate thing to do. You go, girls.

15. Jennifer Lopez

Similar to Beyoncé and Jay Z, Jennifer Lopez also did the 22-day vegan challenge. Since then, she added fish to her diet, but said that mainly eating a plant-based diet has helped her feel and look better than she’s ever felt before.
