It may have taken their fans by surprise, but there was no huge drama surrounding the ordeal. Both of them prefer keeping a low public profile with details of their personal lives kept private. Keeping your private life out of the spotlight is no easy trick when you are a superstar like Rihanna and a Saudi businessman like Hassan. Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler

When a Chicago Bears quarterback and a reality television star fashion designer get married, it is meant to last. That is, it is meant to last at least a decade. These two were together for a full decade and married for seven of those years. Seems as if they could survive all of lives challenges and ups and downs except when it came to being locked up together during a pandemic. The two claim they simply just grew apart. They divorced in April, 2020 but still share the custody of their three children, 8-year-old Camden, 6-year-old Jaxon, and 5-year-old Saylor.

Mary-Kate Olsen And Olivier Sarkozy

It hasn’t been a “Full House” for this Olsen twin for quite sometime, but it appeared as if her marriage to Olivier Sarkozy was somehow working out despite the age difference. The two were married in 2015 a midst plenty of fans voicing their disapproval. Mary-Kate filed for divorce during the pandemic. To her chagrin, a New York judge denied her filing since a divorce was not considered to be an essential court proceeding during a pandemic lock down. In spite of the denial for a formal and legal divorce, the two separated with no desire to reunite as a former child star and prominent banker.

Christina Anstead And Ant Anstead

Christina’s first divorce from Tarek, whom she used to share an HGTV show Flip Or Flop with, was very public. But, she seemingly picked up the pieces and moved on to marry Ant Anstead. Ant Anstead is an English television presenter and had been previously married to his first wife, Louise with whom he shares two children.

Brooks Laich And Julianne Hough

The wedding was very romantic as an outdoor ceremony, but the love connection would not last long. Sadly, the spring of 2020 brought more than a pandemic to the Hough-Laich household. They had been trying to have a child together via IVF. But, they announced their breakup in the spring. By September, however, the two decided to give their marriage one more chance. This last-ditch effort didn’t last long. By November, Julianne officially filed for divorce.

Maybe another song will come out of the breakup, like his country single “Alright” was inspired by the marriage.

Erika Girardi And Thomas Girardi

Some say the divorce is merely a sham to protect the couple’s finances from debt collectors. But, regardless, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star filed for divorce in November, 2020. The two had been married for 21 years despite naysayers balking at the nearly four-decade age gap between them. Tabloids consistently accused both of them of having affairs throughout their time together. Others tried to make readers believe that the two were engaged. They ultimately chose to end their relationship in 2007. Cameron Diaz said that she had no interest in getting married but no other reason was given for the breakup. But, alas, 2020 was not a good year for bonding relationships. By April, they were calling it quits. Both began deleting pictures of the other from their social media accounts. They sealed the deal when the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. Such a shame, since they looked really good together in photographs.

Dove Cameron And Thomas Doherty

Nobody saw this breakup coming. Dove and Thomas did not make it past 2020 with all of the pandemic shutdowns and stress. Fans began to wonder if their relationship was over when Dove posted a statement saying, “In October, Thomas and I decided to part ways.” She went on to explain reasons why. Nothing seems to last forever when it comes to the world of Hollywood. This breakup, however, took many fans by surprise. After nine years of dating, Vanessa and Austin has called it quits. Though, there are plenty of fans who refuse to believe their love link has come to an end. Apparently, the breakup is not such a mystery to Vanessa and Austin, however. In fact, they admittedly have nothing but respect.
